Welcome to our site!

The Alliance For Disability Awareness is a new organization on the University of Michigan- Dearborn's campus.  We are made up of students with varying disabilities and students interested in disability awareness.  In the coming months we will aim to bring various individuals to our campus to speak. These individuals may include an occupational therapist to educate our members about the different aids for daily living that are available.  Check out our Events section to see if anything is coming up. Feel free to contact us if would like to be added to our email list to receive updates about events open to the public.

Another thing we aim to do is mentor new students with disabilities so we can share and learn from each other's experiences. If you are considering attending The University of Michigan- Dearborn and would like to talk with a current student feel free to contact us and we would be happy to talk to you.

Mission Statement: The Alliance for Disability Awareness is established for the purpose of providing educational and social opportunities relating to the interests of students with disabilities, and promoting an increased awareness within the community of the abilities we each have.
